[TYPO3-english] Problem with General Office Displayer and Typo3 4.2.6

Dear All,
 Has anyone had any success getting the General Office Displayer
extension to work with Typo3 4.2.6? I have tried both importing
documents and using the plugin on both Word 2003 XML documents and
OpenOffice .sxw documents. For the import, no rich text editor
appears, just the upload form is re-shown. For the display with a
plugin, the area where text should appear is blank.
