[TYPO3-english] Prepending http://typo3 to external links

Greetings all, 
 
I am having an issue with creating links in the RTE. All of a sudden, typo3 is prepending all of my external links with http://typo3. For example, if I create a link to google, it creates the link: http://typo3/http://www.google.com. I have not located any TypoScript that seems to be causing this issue. Any thoughts why this would be happening?
