[TYPO3] ISO: file repository

i did a quick search through the regular channels, but have not found  
anything yet..

what i am looking for is a file repository plugin for typo3..

something that our users can use to upload files, and have our users  
notified when files are uploaded..

i would need to have a each client have limited access to the  
repository..

is there such a beast anywhere?
