[TYPO3] TCdirectmail - open_basedir restriction in effect

I do not use TCEdirectmail and do not have time yet to try it but maybe 
you could read a bug report I open a few months ago:

I found a bug in TYPO3 core under PHP hardening. Your problem might be 
related and if so, could be put in front stage again. The patch might be 
accepted once.
