[TYPO3] SMTP with direct_mail

Hello list,

I'm setting up a newsletter module with direct_mail, and i want to send 
the newsletters with SMTP. Which way is the best:

use extension: sms_direct_mail_ext
use extension: px_direct_mail_smtp
or something else?

I use:
Typo3		4.1.1
direct_mail  	2.2.0

Suggestions are very welcome!
