[TYPO3] kb_quick_BE, installing the htaccess loads blank screen only

Hi list,

When I install the extension KB Quick BE, follow the instructions, the 
backend then outputs a blank page instead of backend...

i can comment out the one line in the .htccess file that is installed in 
/typo3/

RewriteRule .* /typo3conf/ext/kb_quickbe/be_wrapper.php [L]

which restores the backend.

Anyone have any experience with this?

My typo3 is 4.0.6
kb quick be 0.0.1
