[TYPO3] what is a good solution for image searches in typo3?

I'm not sure this can help you but if you use DAM, you can set a 
description, a list of keywords and much more to all your images. Then 
you can use searchintables or wfqbe to make a search form to allow the 
site users to search inside the DAM metadata.

I never tried it but the 'advoo_dameasysearch' extension seams to 
provide a search form to search inside the DAM metadata.
