[TYPO3] Internet explorer requirements

For a friend of mine I have setup a website with Typo3. Everything seems 
okay but if he wants to edit some text it won't store the changes? I found 
out when I do a quick change, lets say in 2 seconds then it stores the 
changed data???

All the security settings in IE have I brought to low but that don't seem to 
be the solution.

Can someone give me a clue?
