[TYPO3] [direct_mail] trouble rendering plain text

Hi,

As far as I can see nothing happens with the following TypoScript lines:

 marks.CONTENT < styles.content.get
 marks.CONTENT.renderObj = < plugin.tx_directmail_pi1

If I comment these lines and add:

  marks.CONTENT = < plugin.tx_directmail_pi1 

tx_directmail_pi1->main is called and returns: [Unrendered Content
Element:  ]

Does typoscript actually work with TemplaVoila?
