[TYPO3] Missing edit icons in DAM list module

Hi there,

I'm using the DAM version from January 18, 2006 and can't seem to figure 
out why my limited backend user group and be users belonging to that 
group can't edit single DAM records in the list module.

The pencil icon ("edit record"), "move up/down in list", "hide record" 
and "delete" icons respectively do not appear as for an admin user with 
full permissions. The only icon that shows up is "display change history 
/ undo".

Has anybody out there under the TYPO3 sky experienced the same problem? 
Is this possibly a bug or is it a wrong be user group configuration?
