[TYPO3] quick start 3.8.1 menu problem

Hi everyone,

I've installed typo 3 quickstart 3.8.1 on my Debian Sarge machine with 
mysql 4.1 and php4.

I have problem with login form and hidden pages. When I do my login on a 
page I should be redirected
to a hidden page as stated in getting started manual. Nevertheless, 
after I've been redirected to that hidden page, two left side menus pop 
up. It looks like bug to me. Isn't it?

If it will help I can send a screenshoot of that page.
