[TYPO3] ml_maps extension

Hello,

we have installed ml_maps on our site.

The extension is functioning and displaying a floating layer when the 
various markers have a mouse over them. My question is that although the 
hovering layer seems well-positioned when viewed with firefox, in 
internet explorer the hovering 'layer' is often quite some distance from 
the marker, and sometimes not even visible in the window.

Does anyone have any suggestions regarding this?

I did see a remark, when searching, that in order to use floating layers 
correctly the page must be strict html (to avoid browser quirks mode, 
apparently), but ...
