[TYPO3] Cannot select text in IE

Thanks for the replies guys!  I have solved the problem.  The problem 
was my base tag in the HTML "<base 
href="http://civ.stratcommandcenter.com" />"  For some reason that tag 
stops text being selected in ie when the element has position:relative 
defined.  So all I did (with the help of someone at a webmaster website) 
is add this to my CSS:  "* html body{position:relative}"
