[Typo3] looks fine in Firefox but not in IE

i dunno if this be realted, but if your are using xHTML trans IE will
screw up thngs if you have an xml proc (i.e. <?xml lang=en .....?>)
you can turn that off with:
doctype = xhtml_trans
config.xmlprologue = none
if you have doctype to html or not set, then it defaults to HTML 4.1
(with also makes IE and firefox behave different, [different render
modes too, i.e. Quirks Mode])
