[Typo3] CpCRH second-level menu items?

Hello,

I'm trying to determine why a site I've set up using the static  
templates extension and CpCRH template isn't showing second-level  
menu items.
The second level pages aren't hidden, and I can show them directly  
from the backend, but they don't show up under the top-level items  
(although the top level items become bolded if there are 2nd level  
items there).

Anyone have any suggestions, or advice as to what to look for??
