Hi - a while back I reported on a problem I have after installing the flash
xml parser extension to experiment with it..

Now the problem is that whenever I make a custom link in RTE somewhere in my
multisite installation it adds the type declaration at the end of the
address... like so:

http://www.spacexplorer.co.za/index.php?id=238&type=444
instead of
http://www.spacexplorer.co.za/index.php?id=238

I found a work around (mentioned at the bottom) BUT THERE IS PLACES THIS
CROPS UP THAT I CANNOT GET AN ANSWER FOR:

I installed the GUESTBOOK - and the TYPE=444 even infects common buttons
like the one in the GUESTbooks - which renders it unusable....

THIS IS THE LOCATION OF THE GUESTBOOK:
http://www.spacexplorer.co.za/index.php?id=242
LINK THE GUESTBOOK SENDS OPENS A NEW WINDOW WITH XML:
http://www.spacexplorer.co.za/index.php?id=242&type=444&no_cache=1

On other objects:

I still could not find a solution to this problem, except for specifically
declaring "_self" as target were available OR in the link box type in the
page/item to link to and "_self":
e.g. instead of just "255" it would be "225 _self"]

Anyone with an answer - I would like to use the XML parser in flash objects

thx
