[Typo3] Error when executing sql script

Hello,

If this turn out being a problem not related to Typo3, I'm sorry.

I'm desperately trying to execute a sql script generated by PHPMyAdmin 
in Typo3. I keep getting this error:

Fatal error: Maximum execution time of 300 seconds exceeded in 
/srv/www/htdocs/phpmyadmin/libraries/read_dump.lib.php on line 91

I have changed the Apache2 parameter "Timeout" from 300 to 900 seconds, 
but this doesn't change the error message.

The script is 750 Kb and is GZipped.

I also tried to increase the memory usage setting in php.ini to 64 Mb.

I'm running SuSE 9.2 and Typo3 3.7.0.
