[Typo3] Mahjongg plugin: Fatal error: Call to undefined function: imagegif()

Hi everybody,

I downloaded, installed and configured the Mahjongg extension according to guidelines. Everything works fine I can select the default layout as well as the default tiles. But when I click on "Spiel starten" I get the following error message:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function: imagegif() in C:\apache\htdocs\erckert\t3lib\class.t3lib_stdgraphic.php on line 2603

I checked the gdlib_png Parameter already and it is set to 1. I was checking the mailing list as well as Google but did not get satisfying answers that might fix my problem.

Do you have any hint?
