[Typo3] TemplaVoila Wizard messed up now

UPDATE:  The problem is not fixed yet... I decided to try and create a 
folder for templates through fileadmin in Typo3 administration and now 
the wizard works perfectly fine.  But I have no files in the templates 
folder! There is a permission problem, I noticed there is a similar 
thread with the same type of permission problem... however when I try to 
set it to 777, it says "Operation not permitted".

Why is all this happening?
