[TYPO3-dev] Poll: Should we keep supporting "global extensions"?

Usually TYOP3 ensures the backward compat. I can't understand why, in this
case, the GLOBAL scope is depreciated. I hope this will restored for the
future; this is a fundamental feature for most provider/free lance.
