I have an extension, and categories can be translated. I want, that if 
the categories have been translated in to german for instance, and the 
BE is in german, the the select fields shows the categories in german. 
This would seem quite a normal thing to do, since the rest of the BE 
gets changed to the users language. Why should records that get 
displayed in the BE not also be translated. Why do you find it so 
strange that I want this. It doesn't matter whether someone can be 
german and switch the BE to french. If that is the case I want the 
select field to show the cats in french, and fallback to the default 
language when not translated.
