[TYPO3-dev] Indexed Search, Crwaler and the Page Tree

Hi,

i'm working on a project where i need to split the search result in 
different categories. To do this i created the meta configurations i 
need and for the different pages an index configuration of type page tree.

The problem now is that the freeIndexUid is not saved in the db for this 
  type, i even found a bug report.

I tried to understand the workings of the indexed search with the 
crawler but i'm now at a dead end.

What i found out is that the crawler seemed to just creat crawler queues 
for this type. Does someone now where this where this queues are processed?

Or are there other ways around this problem?
