Then you can put a fitting logo there - its no problem to provide a 
blank dummy.
(Or you can use png with alpha layer)

In my opinion the skin is too old and the look and feel of the BE is 
behind the skins of other Open-Source skins like joomla...
E.g.
-the colors are inconsitent in my eyes.
-the search box in the tree with that white background do not fit in the 
grey.
- the grey color is not sexy and friendly
