Well, I am not really frustrated, this problem has been there for a long
time already. I can live with that, for me it's not a problem to upgrade my
sites to an improved CVS version next week, but for the average user it
surely is...

I don't think that this will help. There were three 4.0 beta versions and
two RCs so far - I'm sure there were enough chances to check out the next
version. No, the problem is definitely the something else!

(By the way: Bernhard is already providing such a snapshot service since
December 2005...)
