skin_grey_2 is also a proposal for the new 4.0 skin. It uses partially 
same buttons and both base on skin_grey of Lasse.
IMO the top frame work relly well with the new logo:

I have not recently looked the new skin for typo3 4.0 but color of the
top frame didn't work well with the new logo. I you are going to create 
a new skin it *extremely important* that colors of the skins work well 
with the logo!
