Michael,

don't expect people to be informend about ongoings on the core list.
It may be publicy readable in theory. But it is not advertised in the
main and official places of information. It is still an insider tipp
to read it. That's one of those sides of the project that give people
an ugly feeling to ask: How open is open source?

So don't wonder if the "idots" outside, reinvent the wheels, because
they come to similar conclusions.
