[Typo3-dev] DBAL Drivers

umm, i have no idea whether this was ever asked or written somewhere - 
who will develop the drivers for DBAL?

If there are docs, shame on me - but please point me to it.
I'd like to volunteer for the MS SQL Server driver if noone else wants 
to do it.
