[Typo3-dev] backend ACLs

Hello,
I don't want to create an ACL system for the whole TYPO3, I want it as a 
replacement for the web->access module. I think it is possible to 
archieve this easier. We will see :)
But anyways, I am still not sure if a new DB table is needed for the 
backend access management(ACLs) for pages... It looks too "big" for the 
task for me- basically it's all about storing users/groups and their 
corresponding rights. That is not too much and it doesn't justify 
creating a new DB table for this IMO...
What do you think about this?
