[Typo3-dev] RTE setup tutorial?

Many people have over time been asking questions about setting up RTE.

In my opinion it's not very easy to setup the RTE. And very often I have
to dig in the mailinglist archive to find something useful.
An example is this one:

I know that the RTE offers many opportunities, but does it have to be
this hard to set up?

Would it be possible to provide som TS-config and setup code-snippets to
get you started quickly?

How about a tutorial?

Just my thoughts after spending many hours trying to configure RTE. -
not really being that much wiser on it. ;-)
