I'm not sure about getting completely rid of those errors. To me, they are a good quality check for an extension. But of course, sometimes they are completely irrelevant, and it can confuse newbies, as you said.

I also agree with Peter and Masi. It would be great to have the possibility to define a subfolder for third-party code, so the EM won't check that dir when parsing an extension for XClass and naming errors (/lib is not a bad idea).

However, thanx for the replies. For the moment I'll include a note in the extension manual about that problem. : )
