Hi list.
After upgrading my PHP and MySQL Versions I am not able to establish any
MySQL connection via PHP anymore.
Current Versions are:
MySQL 4.0.24
Apache 1.3.33
PHP 4.3.10-9
PHP4-MYSQL is installed but seems to be not running.
MySQL Server is running and databases can be listed via webmin.
This is the error message from TYPO3:
Fatal error: Call to undefined function: mysql_pconnect() in
/var/www/cmsbox/typo3_src-3.7.0/t3lib/class.t3lib_db.php on line 813
And this the one from PHPmyAdmin:
Die Erweiterung "mysql" kann nicht geladen werden.
Bitte überprüfen Sie Ihre PHP-Konfiguration.
Dokumentation
The documentation simply states there might be no connection to the MySQL
server, which is obvious ...
I googled a few hours now, but there seems to be no real help outthere ...
I even tried to remove the upgrades and reinstall the stable packages but
there are some broken dependencies preventing me from doing so.
Any hints to get this machine running?
Joey
