Hey Christian,

Quickly reading over it I think that if we change it we should keep responsiveness into account too, so even for images that have support for cropping don't require the size properties.

Overall I agree to the ideas, but I wouldn't go to the 0,0 or -1,-1 for sizes. If the image doesn't have a size in pixels we should just not set a value at all.

Well, as said, quick response ;) will give it some more thought :-)
