[Neos] Install with composer fails right after "typo3/eel"

It's only reproducible on my vagrant test machine (debian) with puphpet.com configuration. On an Ubuntu system it works well. Maybe here is something odd with the vagrant machine.

Good morning,

yesterday evening and today morning I tried to install Neos with composer. This install process fails right after installing typo3/eel with:

---

- Installing typo3/eel (2.3.3)
Cloning 1b6d9c7d4242984c9b73e94a5646e916bb58c34a

[RuntimeException]
Failed to execute git checkout '1b6d9c7d4242984c9b73e94a5646e916bb58c34a' -- && git reset --hard '1b6d9c7d4242984c9b73e94a5646e916bb58c34a'
fatal: Not a git repository (or any of the parent directories): .git

Anyone here who can fix this, please?
