[Neos] Install with composer fails right after "typo3/eel"

Good morning,

yesterday evening and today morning I tried to install Neos with composer. This install process fails right after installing typo3/eel with:

- Installing typo3/eel (2.3.3)
Cloning 1b6d9c7d4242984c9b73e94a5646e916bb58c34a

[RuntimeException]
Failed to execute git checkout '1b6d9c7d4242984c9b73e94a5646e916bb58c34a' -- && git reset --hard '1b6d9c7d4242984c9b73e94a5646e916bb58c34a'
fatal: Not a git repository (or any of the parent directories): .git
