[Neos] Local Git versioning of a NEOS project

Hi Pankaj,

Your solution looks really clean, and I think that this is what I have been looking for last night. But this lead me to some more questions:

1. For the base repository, did you start from scratch or did you fork the git.typo3.org/Neos/Distributions/Base.git ? Is there some advantages to start from the official base distribution?

2. Is there any official doc for explaining that? I'm just starting with Neos, and currently I don't know how to start versioning my project. I think that this issue should impact many developers, so I have been surprised not to find a clear solution in the doc. Do you know any officials resources on the subject?
