[Neos] Link state doesn't work on shortcuts in menus

I discovered an issue with shortcuts in menus. Or is that supposed to work like that?!?

I tried to implement a shared footer where you can select the footer menu links. If you navigate to a page which is in the footer links the link won't get the "current" class wrapping. 

You can see this behaviuor on the demo page as well. Go to the Download page... The top menu will get the current wrapping but the menu link in the footer link wont get the current/active wrapping.
