I'm looking into roles and acls in Phoenix. Here's what I've found:

Roberts tweet:

The Epic for user management:

Some changes related to the security:

Why do I care about user accounts? For the project I'm working on, user
accounts is the practically the last feature I require before I can switch
from v4 to Phoenix. I'm ok with being a guinea pig and using bleeding-edge
software.
At first blush, I need a way to let users authenticate, and then restrict
their access to certain branches of the site based on their
user-groups/roles (a la FE users in v4). Next, I'll want to give some users
editing rights, also based on their role (a la BE users). The FE users
equivalent is most important to me.

I'm looking forward to meeting you guys at T3CON in June, and I'm looking
forward to the birth of the phoenix.

Cheers,
Jacob Floyd
