I never liked the tendancy of other CMS (no names please) to present themselves a "so simple a kid could use them". No Typo3 is not of this kind for me, it is aimed at professional customers and therefore requires professional developers.

I consider the combination of ease of use and power the sign of a good product. Look at Apple's Developer Tools. They're powerful, but also easy to use. The fact that you can create an application there without writing a line of code is a strength: it saves time for the developer! Of course the developer can choose to go deeper into things and write everything, but one of the reasons why the iPhone has so many apps is that it is very easy to develop them: combining quality, power and ease of use.

I write most of my web sites by hand, and I often find I have little use for Firebug. I use it for JavaScript debugging, but Safari has an interface which gives me a better overview (I find) when debugging HTML and CSS, for example. (Sometimes I'm also using the developer tools in Internet Explorer, but that's for IE specific bugs.)
