GPLv3 and LGPLv3 are compatible according to the FSF.

LGPLv3 projects may not use GPLv2-only libraries, says
  http://www.gnu.org/licenses/gpl-faq.html#AllCompatibility

"or later" can always be "upgraded", so no problem there.

What this means for any specific case? Honestly, I have no clue. If I 
need to know I'll find out. But please don't ask me things even lawyers 
disagree about from time to time.
