Seriously, it's a really good idea but 2 things comes to mind.

1. Who will take care of this?
2. Who will host such a 500mb image ?

It would be sad if the whole project is on single shoulders and die 
after a first version.

And sadly, I couldn't do any of those 2 tasks.
