I had a discussion with one of our developers about using Java for 
TYPO3. Actually it would work great with jackrabbit, and it's obviously 
cleaner in a OOP point of view.

I actually prefere PHP because Java needs more complex server 
environments and has to be compiled and needs more time for development...

But it would be a nice short discussion, why we would never use Java for 
TYPO3 5.

Why wouldn't you use Java for TYPO3 5.0?

By the way, for the views of TYPO3 5.0 I would take a closer look at 
PRADO framework. They have great ideas in their framework, and I think 
something similar could realy fit into TYPO3.
