I had a discussion with one of our developers about using Java for
TYPO3. Actually it would work great with jackrabbit, and it's obviously
cleaner in a OOP point of view.
I actually prefere PHP because Java needs more complex server
environments and has to be compiled and needs more time for development...
But it would be a nice short discussion, why we would never use Java for
TYPO3 5.
Why wouldn't you use Java for TYPO3 5.0?
By the way, for the views of TYPO3 5.0 I would take a closer look at
PRADO framework. They have great ideas in their framework, and I think
something similar could realy fit into TYPO3.
