i'm currently working on that a little bit i've been toying with ideas
like: https://gist.github.com/3878498

if i remember correctly Bastian did work on the php-cli stuff based on
windows to some degree, but don't know the state of that.

but right know i'm trying to create a package with Tasks for Surf to make
the deployment to SharedHostings with custom php-cli paths and such easier:
    https://github.com/mneuhaus/Famelo.Surf.SharedHosting

With the SharedHosting you could use your main Development Machine to
develop, and create a deployment for each target with changed php paths.

are you on irc somewhere to discuss this?

Greetings Marc
