[FLOW3-general] Help: Just a blank page and nothing else...

Hi there!

I'm completely new here and so I hope this is the right place for my 
question.

Now I'm trying to make FLOW3 work since nearly 6 hours, but I still just 
recieve a completely white Page - no Welcome Screen.
I tried downloading and a manual Setup like in the FLOW3 Tutorial, I 
tried a svn checkout and a git clone... nothing works... :(

Can anybody tell me where to search for the failure?

Add Infos: Virtual host is set and working,
Server is Ubuntu 10.10 Server on a VMWare machine
PHP is 5.3.3
