[FLOW3-general] ExtDirect-Request to a database-table with text-fields containing german 'Umlaute' throws Error

Hi folks,

 

my Problem with ExtDirect and German 'Umlaute' may come from an incomplete
database configuration. Is there any possibility to configure FLOW3 with
parameters like:

 

>> set-names

>> set-default-character-set

 

like in TYPO3. That might solve my Problem with the 'Umlaute'.
