[TYPO3-windows] Problems with T3 installers

Hi all,

I am trying to install T3 and Quickstart on a working WAMP installation in 
Windows XP.

I am having a basic problem with the Wiki installation instructions for 
Windows as follows:

When I extract typo3_src-3.8.1.tar.gz I first get a copy warning that says 
"The typo3_src-3.8.1\typo\t3lib\typo3_src-3.8.1\typo3\t3lib folder does not 
exist. Do you want to create it?"

I answer yes, then I get the following WINRAR diagnostic warnings:

"D:\typo3_src-3.8.1.tar.gz: Cannot create .\t3lib\thumbs.php
D:\typo3_src-3.8.1.tar.gz: Cannot create ..\t3lib\gfx
D:\typo3_src-3.8.1.tar.gz: Cannot create typo3\sysext\cms\tslib
D:\typo3_src-3.8.1.tar.gz: Cannot create tslib\index_ts.php
D:\typo3_src-3.8.1.tar.gz: Cannot create tslib\showpic.php
D:\typo3_src-3.8.1.tar.gz: Cannot open typo3_src-3.8.1\showpic.php (b --> 
typo3_src-3.8.1\showpic.php)
D:\typo3_src-3.8.1.tar.gz: Symbolic link points to missing file"

Note that I am installing to C:\wamp\www\ ...

When I try to extract Quickstart, I also get errors, but they may be because 
of the above.

Does anyone have any suggestions?
