[Typo3-windows] link problems with initial install

hi all,

i was about to install quicksite 3.8.1 successfully but seems to be missing
a configuration step or two.

when i go to http://localhost/quickstart-3.8.1/typo3/ , i'm able to see the
left frame with all the web/file/doc/.... sections displayed.

however, when i clicked on one (say page or view or list or info...) it
tries to connect to http://quickstart-3.8.1/.../.... instead of
http://localhost/quickstart-3.8.1/.../...

any help is greatly appreciated.
