I know at least two companies within the US that is moving away from
TYPO3 because they
have a very hard time finding the correct support for there projects.
I am currently in maintenance mode with them, but now they are looking
into Wordpress
and Drupal. Simply because they can find companies and freelancer a
lot easer
that do Drupal and Wordpress then TYPO3. Unfortunately, both
installations
are highly outdated with a 3.8 installation and a 4.2 installation,
but they are
complex enough to now allow for easy upgrades.

So I think it's easy enough to conclude that TYPO3 in the US is not
visible enough,
we all know companies are there that can support TYPO3, but where!!!
