[TYPO3-UG US] TYPO3 Conference In Dallas, Texas

Just curious, is Dallas as the conference city locked in concrete and how
was that city decided? One would think that there would have been some
public discussion before a venue was selected. Dallas is the last place I
would hold a conference.If you are doing a conference in Texas, it needs to
be in Austin. There are a lot more central and better locations, especially
for an international conference like this. For me, the cost of going to the
European TCON would not be all that much more expensive that going to
Dallas.
