[TYPO3-UG US] TYPO3 rich text editor problem

Hi,
Only recently has the RTE stopped working for me on both PC and Macs on
all browsers.
It fails to load the existing content into the editor if it loads the
editor at all.
No typo3 settings have been modified recently.
Does anyone know what could generate this problem?
