Sorry, but I have to comment about this because I'm more than a little
tired of all the nitpicking over one comment that was meant to correct
misinformation and nothing more. Yes, you can rip apart any statement
someone makes, and yes, you can read more into it than you should and
yes, you can take a small statement and blow it completely out of
proportion to the point it loses its original meaning, but why would you
choose to do that? I did not read anything in Alex's statement that
would lead to hostile national sentiments. How much more ridiculous can
this get? (I'm sure this will be answered in the next post. LOL) I think
Alex's comment was professional and didn't resort to any name-calling or
negative attitude. I guess having been on the receiving end of
unwarranted criticism in the past I'm just too thick-skinned to really
take this seriously, which is also why I don't immediately take
everything so negatively.
